I am just asking if anyone knows:
When I drag code into the toolbox, where does it store this code?
I have looked under various directories, and am unable to find it.
Does anyone know?
Pls refer these links::
Nice, but it doesn’t say where on my hard drive the storage file is located.
Do you want to know how VS store your setting? If so, in Visual Studio, customizations of the integrated development environment (IDE) are stored in groupings known as settings, which is in "C:Documents and SettingsLoginNameMy DocumentsVisual Studio
2008Settings" by default.
If this doesn’t help you, please feel free to let me know and clarify what you want to do.
I know expression Web is different, but when you store a code snippet for later use, it would store a copy of all of your recorded snippets in an xml file, but VWD is a little different Snippets aren’t the same as dragging a copy of code you use over and
over again into the toolbox area. I was just wondering where they recorded these so When I install my new drive, I can make a copy of the file for use when I re-install.
