How does session timeout work? Is it 20 minutes (the default, I know I can change the time) no matter how much activity the session receives within that time (ie. writing to session), or is it 20 minutes from the LAST activity on the session? If not the
latter, then is there a way to keep the session alive or extend it based on session activity?
"A session is considered active as long as requests continue to be made with the same SessionID value.
If the time between requests for a particular session exceeds the specified time-out value in minutes, the session is considered expired. Requests made with an expired SessionID value
result in a new session."
So, my question still applies, for clarification. If I continue to send requests to an active session, the session timeout resets from that last request, in other words, in this example, it would expire 20 minutes from when LAST request occurred?
, it would expire 20 minutes from when LAST request occurred?
