[RESOLVED]Runtime Error

Hi All,

I have created an application(MVC5), its working fine in local environment. but am getting the following error in server environment some times.

Framework : 4.5, IIS – Windows Server 2008.

Runtime Error

Description: An
application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server
machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors>
tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application’s <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Thanks,
jai

Clearly there is an error in application and IIS cannot display it to you in browser for security. If you want to see which error it is, simply change your web.config file, as below and then check why/which error is thrown.

 <customErrors mode="Off"/>

Hi,

Thanks for that, but it got below error,

The anti-forgery token could not be decrypted. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that all machines are running the same version of ASP.NET Web Pages and that the configuration specifies explicit encryption and validation
keys. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster.

It more related to multiple Anti-forgery token in single page. can you help me.

Thanks,

Jai.

You should not have multiple tokens on the same page. When a form posts only one token needs to be sent to the server. Why are you using multiple tokens
